Dr Shilpa Sonarkhan, is a consultant paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus working at Karthik Netralaya, Bangalore.She graduated from Indira Gandhi Govt Medical college Nagpur and later completed her Post graduation from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bhopal. She later pursued her fellowship in Paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, from L V Prasad eye Institute, Hyderabad in 2012-2013.Post fellowship , she has been working as Consultant in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She has presented in various state and national conferences. She is a certified Child psychologist, and takes immense passion in understanding problems of kids. In order to address the rising issue of digital addiction amongst kids, she is involved in a digital detox programme for kids and conducts various talks and workshops on digital detox for kids.
