Dr. Soma Rani Roy, working as Ocular Oncologist and Oculoplastic surgeon in Chittagong Eye Infirmary, Bangladesh. She completed MBBS in 2001 and her Diploma in Community Ophthalmology (DCO) in 2009. She also completed ICO (International Council of Ophthalmology) examination in 2009 and 2010, FCPS in 2020, FICO and MRCSEd in 2021. She did 2 years in house fellowship in Oculoplasty from Chittagong Eye Infirmary; ICO three months fellowship two times in Oculoplasty on 2014 from Sankara Nethralaya and in Retinoblastoma on 2015 from L .V. Prasad eye Institute, India and prestigious NHGRI one-month fellowship in Genetics and Genomics from National Institute of Health (NIH), USA. She is also working as a research associate and part-time faculty at the Institute of Community Ophthalmology, Chittagong, Bangladesh. She has 10 international and more than 20 national published journals. She represented her institute in different national and international conferences.
