Dr. Smith Snehal Sute is currently pursuing Fellowship in Phacoemulsification & Refractive Surgery at Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Bangalore. He completed M.S Ophthalmology from Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh and MBBS from N.K.P Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Nagpur. A member of international, national and state ophthalmic societies, he has presented papers, case reports and e-posters at ESCRS 2020, AIOS 2020, iROP 2019, NZOS & COS 2018. He was awarded First prize in Refractive Surgery Interesting Cases session, First prize in Paediatric Ophthalmology Poster Gallery, Second prize in Refractive Surgery Free paper session, Second prize in Refractive Surgery Poster Gallery and Third prize in Cataract Surgery Free paper session at the DOS 2020 conference. He has publications in the prestigious JRS (Journal of Refractive Surgery) and in IJO (Indian Journal of Ophthalmology). His fields of interests include Premium intraocular lenses, Biometry, Refractive surgery, corneal imaging & biomechanics, epithelial remodelling, mathematical modelling and Clinical research.
