Dr.Sudipta Ghosh graduated in 2001 and completed her post-graduation 2006. Dr. Sudipta Ghosh went for a Clinical Research position at the prestigious Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH), Melbourne, Australia in 2006 for a year and further worked as Senior Registrar at the same institute till 2008. Dr Sudipta Ghosh further moved to the Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia for a year till 2009 for Advanced Glaucoma fellowship where she acquired sub-speciality training in Glaucoma Management and Glaucoma Surgical techniques along with General Ophthalmology. After returning from Australia, she joined Rabindranath Tagore International Institute, Department of Ophthalmology in 2009. Presently she is the Head of the Department with her main focus of areas being Cataract, Glaucoma, Trauma, Neuro-Ophthalmology and Paediatric Ophthalmology. Dr Sudipta is a member of many Ophthalmological societies and contributed equally in one and all. She is the Associate Editor of Bengal Ophthalmic Journal and Indian Journal of Community Ophthalmology. Recently, Dr Sudipta Ghosh has launched the West Bengal chapter of Women Ophthalmologist Society (WB-WOS). Reviewer of many International and National Journals along with several publications in leading International and National journals. She has won several awards for paper and poster presentations at various National and International forums.
