Dr. Ashwin Mohan is currently working as a Vitreo-retinal surgeon and Research Lead at Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute, Trivandrum and is pursuing his PhD on retinal oximetry from Maastricht University in Netherlands. He completed his DNB from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai in 2013 and his Fellowship in Vitreo-retinal surgery from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore in 2016. He has been actively involved in clinical research and has more than 30 peer reviewed publications and is a reviewer for Acta Ophthalmologica, Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, Ocular Immunology and Inflammation and Scientific Reports. He has also worked as a project Associate at HTIC IIT Madras in 2013 as an ophthalmology expert for a machine based automatic diabetic fundus image grading system.
